Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Scraps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Dixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Scraps! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dixon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Jose Scraps has been cut. Scraps darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dixon tries to roll over but Scraps keeps him under control. Scraps is keen to just control but Dixon is a slippery customer. Scraps working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Scraps blocks the strikes from Dixon.

Scraps is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dixon looks for a takedown but Scraps sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donk. Dixon catches Scraps right on the button with a cross. Dixon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Scraps has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dixon is working away from the top position though. Dixon moves nicely into side control. Dixon lands some shots froms side control. Dixon throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Scraps takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dixon in side control lands a decent elbow. Dixon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Scraps is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dixon is breathing heavily. Scraps tries to improve position but can't. Dixon scores with a couple of short elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Scraps sneaks back into half guard. Dixon is thwarting Scraps's attempts to control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dixon connects with a nice short shot to Scraps's temple. Scraps is looking to control Dixon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Scraps avoid being mounted? The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dixon stops Scraps from getting back to his feet.

Dixon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dixon working Scraps over with strikes here. Scraps takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Dixon with shots to the head and body - Scraps looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scraps tries to hold on but Dixon pushes him away. Dixon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Dixon landing strikes from the mount. Scraps tries to hold on but Dixon postures up. Dixon throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Dixon throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Scraps wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dixon.

Ryan Dixon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jose Scraps's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Scraps fails in his attempt to clinch. Scraps wants to clinch up but Dixon keeps it at a distance. Scraps fails with the takedown and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Scraps misses with a takedown and Dixon counters with a one-two to the body. Scraps with a lazy takedown attempt and Dixon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ryan Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Scraps. Scraps misses with a takedown and Dixon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Dixon working the head and body with strikes. Dixon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Dixon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Scraps rushes Dixon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Scraps blocks an elbow strike. Dixon is trying to break free. Scraps goes for a takedown attempt but Dixon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dixon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Scraps struggling a bit here. Dixon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dixon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dixon misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Scraps moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dixon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dixon connects with a couple of short punches. Scraps kicks Dixon off and gets to his feet. Dixon misses with a hook. Scraps ducked under it nicely. Dixon fails with the takedown and Scraps makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dixon thows a big elbow that misses. Scraps wants to stand up but Dixon is controlling him. Dixon lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Scraps has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dixon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dixon scoring with punches to the head and body. Dixon scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dixon with a flurry of punches that miss. Dixon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dixon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dixon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scraps swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dixon distracts Scraps with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Scraps utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dixon circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Scraps counters with a solid body kick. Scraps clinches but Dixon breaks the clinch and Dixon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scraps shoots in for a double leg but Dixon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dixon works the jab nicely. Scraps forces Dixon back against the cage and clinches. Dixon is trying to break free. Scraps is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Scraps tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dixon just stands there and leans against the cage. Scraps trying to control the position but instead, Dixon has worked for underhooks and has pushed Scraps into the cage. Scraps tries to pull guard but Dixon holds him up against the cage and eventually Scraps drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dixon has had enough of the clinch but Scraps keeps him there for the moment. Dixon prevents the takedown attempt.

Scraps jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dixon walks away with a smile on his face. Scraps gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dixon tests Scraps's chin there with a solid looking shot. Scraps fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dixon scores with a three punch combo!
Jab by Dixon. Jose Scraps has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Dixon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Scraps misses with the combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Dixon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dixon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
