Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sauron Evil!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry looks to throw the jab but Evil is out of range.
Henry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Evil chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Henry can pounce on him.
Henry misses with a wild combination.
Nice body kick from Henry.
Evil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Henry.
Evil avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Evil stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Henry.
Henry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Henry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evil was well out of range. Poor timing from Henry.
Evil checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hank Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Henry connects with a looping right hand.

Henry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Evil moves out of range as Henry throws a body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Henry. That's going to slow Evil down.
Henry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Evil.
Henry takes a swing at Evil's ribcage but misses.
Henry tests Evil's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Evil takes one to the chin there.
Henry misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Evil counters with a shoot takedown. Henry fights it but they end up in guard.
Evil is looking to work some ground and pound but Henry has wrist control.

Henry seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Evil shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henry as he jumps to the side.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Evil shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Henry's guard.

Evil drops back, looking for a kneebar! Henry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Henry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Henry!

Evil wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Evil tries to bench press Henry off him but Henry keeps the position.
Evil misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Evil is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Henry is controlling him well.

Evil misses with a strike from the bottom.
Evil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Evil is breathing heavily.
Evil tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Henry thows a left - swing and a miss!

Henry throws a right and a left that Evil avoids nicely.
Henry swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Evil closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Evil lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Evil is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Henry is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Henry has escaped and now he's on top!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Henry here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Henry passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Evil is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Henry off and has taken his back!
Henry covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Evil is persistently looking for the submission but Henry is defending it well.

Evil lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Henry.
Evil doesn't have the hooks in and Henry manages to turn into his guard.

Evil working for submissions but it's allowed Henry to get to half guard.

Henry moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Evil.
Henry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evil keeps working.
Evil throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sauron Evil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Evil keeps the fight on the outside.

Evil scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Henry wants to control but Evil is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Henry on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Henry tries to get out of the position.

Evil stands up and beckons Henry to join him on the feet.
Henry misses with a body kick.
Henry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Evil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Henry.
Hank Henry is winning the standup battle so far.
Henry takes a swing at Evil's ribcage but misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Henry lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Evil has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Evil and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Evil bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Evil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Henry has escaped the position, nice work there.
Evil takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Evil tries for a kimura but Henry is defending well.

Evil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Henry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Evil goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Henry has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Evil but great work by Henry.

Henry takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Evil to pass into mount.
Evil swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Evil working to try and regain half guard.
Henry controlling his opponent.
Evil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Evil postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Henry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Evil, into his guard.

Evil is looking for a triangle but Henry pushes his legs off easily.
Henry has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Evil throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Evil looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Henry has picked Evil up and slammed him! Evil can't keep hold of the triangle and Henry manages to pass to side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Evil is not content to let Henry control the position.
Evil tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Evil wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Evil is looking for a sweep.
Sauron Evil has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Henry throws a leg kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sauron Evil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Evil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
