Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cobweb Cooter (ranked 1308 p4p, 136 weight class) and Nando Vasquez (ranked 1521 p4p, 163 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cooter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Porch Honky. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Vasquez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cooter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vasquez scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cobweb Cooter will probably get the nod.

Cooter shoots in looking for a takedown. Vasquez tries to sprawl out of it but Cooter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vasquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cooter is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Vasquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
