Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ramon Gracie (ranked 121 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lin Shui (ranked 16738 p4p, 0 weight class). The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Gracie gets caught napping as Shui dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shui controls the pace. Shui trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Shui controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shui is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shui pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Gracie is controlling Shui's posture.

Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shui manages to get himself to full guard.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shui. Score +3 for passing guard: Gracie (5) vs (2) Shui Gracie controlling his opponent. Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time. Shui is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea.

Gracie controlling from the back. Shui defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Gracie's arms. Gracie gets his hands free as Shui looks to control.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Gracie has good solid back control here. Gracie looking for the RNC. Gracie tries to get the hooks in deep but Shui pushed the leg off. Shui trying to control but not successfully. Shui is really stuck here.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Shui manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gracie's guard. Nice work there by Shui.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shui tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Shui is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shui is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Shui is looking to stall here but Gracie recovers full guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Shui from controlling successfully. Shui trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shui trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shui might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gracie haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Shui preventing the sweep.

That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Gracie pulls Shui in to control the position. Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Shui uses it to pass to side control.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Shui is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there. Shui wants to control for a moment but Gracie uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Shui is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Shui has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Gracie (8) vs (10) Shui Shui controlling from the full mount. Shui pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shui is still trying to improve position. Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.
