Tennessen has chosen Manowar - Warriors of the World as his entrance music. Dave Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caspian Tennessen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a leg kick
and Tennessen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tennessen is standing up over Smith. Smith looks to escape but Tennessen dives into side control.
Tennessen throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tennessen scores with punches from side control.
Tennessen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well.
Tennessen cracks Smith with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The referee asks Tennessen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tennessen prefers to stall for the moment though.
Smith tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Tennessen easily slips into full mount!
Smith wants to hold on but Tennessen pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith tries to buck Tennessen off so he can stand up but Tennessen has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Smith falls backwards, slamming Tennessen to the mat but Tennessen holds on tight! Smith is forced to tap and this one is all over!
