Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Fixit (ranked 2995 p4p, 114 weight class) and Javier Vasquez (ranked 3224 p4p, 120 weight class). Vasquez has chosen Faster Disco as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Fixit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Vasquez! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasquez slaps away a takedown attempt from Fixit, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fixit takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Jim Fixit has been cut. Vasquez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fixit is landing a low percentage of strikes. Vasquez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasquez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Vasquez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vasquez works over Fixit with some ground and pound from guard. Vasquez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Vasquez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fixit's head. Vasquez wants to control from the top but Fixit keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasquez stands up over Fixit, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fixit avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Vasquez connects with a couple of short punches.
Jim Fixit's cut is getting worse. Vasquez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Fixit is rocked!
Jeez, Jim Fixit's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim Fixit's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Javier Vasquez! Javier Vasquez took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
