Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NWA Chin Check kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jeffrey The Dude is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey The Dude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buster Banks!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Dude.
The Dude ducks under a wild hook from Banks.

The Dude darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banks desperately trying to maintain half guard.

The Dude is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The Dude is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Banks sees it coming and defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Banks is looking to control The Dude's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Banks avoid being mounted?
Banks might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Dude kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The Dude is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Banks is staying active underneath The Dude, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Banks is concentrating on defense, preventing The Dude from advancing position.

The Dude wants to work for an arm triangle but Banks is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The Dude is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Banks has managed to free his arm - good work.

Banks is staying active underneath The Dude, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Dude tries to pass the half guard into mount. Banks knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Banks wants to improve his position but The Dude is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Banks lands a nice shot to the body.
Banks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Dude circles away quickly and effectively.
Banks misses the shot to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The Dude throws an overhand right that lands on Banks's shoulder, as Banks tries to avoid the shot.
Banks misses with a double jab.

Banks gets caught flat footed, as The Dude shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



The Dude closes the distance and clinches.

Banks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Banks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Dude moves away.
The Dude has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from The Dude there as he acknowledges the shot.

The Dude is looking to land body kicks.
The Dude dodges the punch combination from Banks.
The Dude misses the shot to the body.
A big left from The Dude misses.
The Dude tries to clinch up but Banks circles away and keeps his distance.
The Dude shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Banks connects with a crisp jab.
Banks lands a slapping body shot.
Banks is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down The Dude rather than just go for the knockout.

The Dude shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Banks misses with the combination.
Banks works The Dude's body with a nice hook.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Banks stalks The Dude and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Dude's face. The Dude staggers backwards, shaken.
Banks throws a leg kick but The Dude checks it.
The Dude drops his hands momentarily and Banks takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Dude slips a straight right by Banks.
Banks misses with a series of wild punches.

Banks lands a nice looking body shot.
Buster Banks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The Dude keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The Dude scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Banks controlling the position for now.

The Dude is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Banks as he works his way to full guard.
Banks wants to sweep here but The Dude controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Banks has his hands clasped together around The Dude's back. He's all about the action.

The Dude trying to work for an americana but Banks has managed to regain full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Banks is trying to control the position but The Dude postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buster Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Banks scores with a one two! The Dude had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Banks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Dude changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Banks tries to avoid it but The Dude manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Banks to the ground. Banks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Banks as The Dude shoots in.
A combination from Banks does no damage.
Banks throws a series of punches but The Dude avoids them all with ease.
The Dude tries to clinch there but Banks circles away.
Danga de danga de dang - Banks scores with a four punch combination!
Banks lands with a shot to the body.
The Dude takes a swing at Banks's ribcage but misses.
A punch lands to the side of The Dude 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Buster Banks seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Banks throws a jab but it's blocked by The Dude.

The Dude tries to clinch there but Banks circles away.
The Dude uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banks.
Banks slips a jab from The Dude.
The Dude keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Banks throws a solid leg kick but The Dude takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Banks.
The Dude misses with a hook. Banks ducked under it nicely.
Banks throws a right and a left that The Dude avoids nicely.
The Dude showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Banks.
The Dude takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The Dude walks into a left hand.
A slow jab from Banks misses its intended target.

Banks keeps the fight on the outside.
Banks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Dude moves away.

The Dude moves into the clinch.
The Dude stalls.

The Dude decides to pull guard.
Banks trying to stand up but can't free himself from The Dude's guard.

The Dude throws his legs up looking for a submission but Banks uses it to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Dude struggling a bit here.
Banks tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Banks is looking to take a break and control but The Dude is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The Dude tries to buck Banks off but Banks is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on The Dude's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The Dude is looking for a sweep.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Banks lands a nice hook to The Dude's body. The Dude takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Buster Banks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Banks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
