The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Abdoul counters with a left to the body.

Morgan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Abdoul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Abdoul manages to pass to side control.
Abdoul decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Abdoul wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Morgan has him pressed against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Abdoul decides to stand up, so the ref orders Morgan to his feet.
Abdoul closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.
Morgan is looking to stand back up but Abdoul counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Morgan.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Abdoul really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morgan tries to get to full guard but Abdoul has control of the leg.
Morgan tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Abdoul has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Morgan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Morgan wants to hold on but Abdoul pushes him away.

Morgan wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Abdoul is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Morgan with him. Morgan is trying to defend but Abdoul has an arm under the chin now! Morgan grimaces and is forced to tap out!
