Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Gunn (ranked 4154 p4p, 430 weight class) and Reima Poika (ranked 2745 p4p, 327 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn looks for the body kick but Poika saw that one coming.
A jab from Poika does it's job there.
Reima Poika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Poika might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gunn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Poika - the referee stops the clock and Gunn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Poika. Gunn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Poika stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gunn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gunn wants it to stay on the feet.

Well Poika has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
