Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fred King (ranked 4568 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Second (ranked 4823 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fred King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jesus Second! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Second shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. King tries to get to full guard but Second has control of the leg. Second is working for a submission of some sort.
Second wants to pass the guard but King is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is defending against the submission attempts here by Second.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is not content to let Second control the position. Second stalling away here and it's allowed King to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. King will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Second is one step ahead there. Second wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Second stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. Second wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Second manages to get an easy takedown there - catching King on his heels. He'll look to pass King's guard now, I'm sure. There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
Second had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Second throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
King sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Second's guard. King works his way into side control. Second tries to control the position but he's not in luck - King easily slips into full mount! King looking to ground and pound but Second is blocking nicely. King looking to control but Second is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King controlling from mount. King could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. King wants to control the pace but Second is squirming around nicely. Second tries to reverse the position but King maintains control. King misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King trying to control but Second is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Fred King will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. King tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Second's elbow. Second avoiding damage as King throws knees to the body.
Second has King pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. King manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. King being controlled against the cage. King will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Second up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King tries to land knees in the clinch but Second avoids the damage to the body. King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. King tries to clinch up but Second circles away and keeps his distance. King looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Second is trying to get back to full guard. Second is trying to control but can't.
Second is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Second looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. King thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Second's head. King is controlling the pace.
Second is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but King pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King not doing much here.

Second is looking for a sweep. King taking a breather here. Second stops King from passing to mount. Second can't do much from the bottom here. Fred King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Second is looking to regain half guard here but King keeps moving and retains side control. Second managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by King.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Second keeps working.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. King has Second up against the cage in a clinch.

King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Second can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King effectively controlling the action here. Second is looking to take this one to the mat. Fred King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Second. King pulls guard effortlessly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred King dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Second keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. King has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Second is proving hard to escape from. Second is looking for a triangle but King pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King prevents Second from getting the reversal. King throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King throws some wild stikes that Second manages to avoid easily.
King tries to control but Second wriggling away. Second tries to hold on but King pushes him away. Second is trying to escape the mount.
King controlling from the full mount. Second reaches up to try and control the position but King seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Second rolls and tries to escape and now King has his back!
Second looking very determined here, making life difficult for King.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. King is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Second knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Second for a finish. Second just trying to survive but King is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King controlling well, preventing Second from escaping the position.
Second is still trying to improve position. Jesus Second has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fred King is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. King controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Fred King showed his dominance in that final round. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
