The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Giuseppe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Giuseppe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Giuseppe throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Giuseppe counters with a one-two to the body.
Giuseppe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Giuseppe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones wants a takedown.
Giuseppe tries to stall but Jones uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Giuseppe lands a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Giuseppe pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Giuseppe is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones tries to pull guard but Giuseppe won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Giuseppe lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Giuseppe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head.
Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Giuseppe defends well.
