The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez gets tackled into the cage by Marin. Marin maintains the clinch.
Sanchez jumps guard but Marin stands there with Sanchez around his waist. Sanchez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sanchez is looking to control Marin's arms but Marin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sanchez has his back to the cage.
Sanchez is working for takedown but Marin is calmly controlling the position for now.
Marin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sanchez pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Marin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marin somewhat.
