Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Netti (ranked 1738 p4p, 234 weight class) and Elvis Presley (ranked 1774 p4p, 240 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Netti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Elvis Presley!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Presley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Presley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Presley throws a right hand that misses
and Netti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Netti cracks Presley on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Presley falls backwards against the ropes. Netti follows up with more strikes that drop Presley to his knees. Netti keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Presley! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Netti!
Mario Netti was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
