Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Will Charles (ranked 2645 p4p, 308 weight class) and Mikey Ronson (ranked 4104 p4p, 409 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronson moves into range and clinches up with Charles.
Charles gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Ronson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ronson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've been informed that Ronson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ronson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Charles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Charles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Charles is taking a breather. Ronson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Ronson is still in real trouble! Can Charles finish him?
Charles lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ronson quite badly. Ronson pulls Charles in close trying to recover. Charles postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ronson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ronson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Charles!
