Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Bruise (ranked 3126 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Carlos (ranked 2260 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bruise counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carlos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bruise manages to avoid it.
Bruise is looking to counter punch.
Bruise cracks Carlos with a good jab.
A head kick misses from Carlos .
Carlos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bruise fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A chopping leg kick lands by Carlos .
Carlos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bruise moves away.
Carlos misses with a jab to the body
and Bruise counters with a nice uppercut.
Carlos throws a hook to the side of Bruise's head but Bruise sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carlos swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Bruise counters with a series of strikes. Carlos will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bruise dips to his left and cracks Carlos with an uppercut!
Carlos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bruise was well out of range. Poor timing from Carlos .
Bruise digs a good body shot into Carlos 's ribs.
Carlos looks to land a right hand but Bruise moved out of range.
Carlos misses with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bruise. Carlos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Carlos misses the body punch
and Bruise counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carlos throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bruise tried to counter with a leg kick but Carlos avoided it.
Carlos closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Bruise walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bruise lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carlos throws a poor cross that misses
and Bruise counters with a nice uppercut.
Carlos moves out of range as Bruise strikes.
Bruise slips a straight right by Carlos .
Carlos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carlos misses the body punch
and Bruise counters with a body kick.
Carlos lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bruise is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bruise walks into a jab.
Oh Bruise is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carlos throws out a loose jab but Bruise uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bruise swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Carlos walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bruise drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Carlos swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bruise's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramon Carlos !
Ramon Carlos tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
