Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins is looking to clinch but Pereira is avoiding it.
Martins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Martins showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martins slips a nice elbow through Pereira's hands, connecting with Pereira's forehead.

Pereira closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pereira lands in his opponent's guard.
Pereira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pereira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pereira drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pereira as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Martins screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pereira! Nice submission victory there!
