Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Martin Dehner (ranked 4763 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourney One (ranked 4677 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Dehner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tourney One!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dehner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but One avoids it really well and circles away.
Dehner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Dehner rushes One and presses him up against the cage.
One throws a head punch that misses.
One scores with a shoulder strike.

Dehner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dehner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One is fighting to break Dehner's control of his arms but Dehner is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
One trying to control the position from guard on top but Dehner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dehner is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dehner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dehner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and One defends well.
Dehner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in One's guard.


That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dehner sitting in guard, not really doing much.
One is trying to control the position but Dehner postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dehner showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
One utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Dehner gets to his feet - One follows without any prompting.
Dehner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
No luck for Dehner with that takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dehner moves away from the strike by One.
One moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dehner dives in for a single leg takedown but One sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Dehner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dehner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. One manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
One lands with a cross.
One lands with a right hand.
Dehner thows a body kick. One tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dehner wants to clinch up but One keeps it at a distance.
One scores with a jab.
One connects with a single shot there.
Tourney One is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dehner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by One.
Dehner shoots in but One avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from One! But no joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good shot there by One.
One throws a looping overhand right but Dehner ducks down to avoid it.
Dehner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and One has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
One listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fighters circling - One throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
As One looks to move away, Dehner throws a big counter combo but One just gets out of the way.
Dehner closes this distance looking for a takedown but One circles away.
One unleashes a big counter combination but Dehner bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dehner is breathing heavily.
Dehner misses with the combination.
It seemed like One was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dehner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tourney One dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


A cross from One lands.
One fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dehner on the side of the head.
Dehner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of One's head.
Dehner tries to close the distance and clinch up but One swats him away and circles back towards the center.
One sizes up Dehner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Dehner darts in and clinches One up against the cage.
Dehner blocking some punches.
Dehner lands a body punch in the clinch.
One lands with a short punch from the clinch.
One misses with a hook from the clinch.
One has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
One lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dehner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
One thows a left - swing and a miss!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dehner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says One as he avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Dehner.
One bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
One throws a series of punches but Dehner moves out of range.
One throws a shot from downtown. Dehner moves away and avoids it.
Tourney One seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dehner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but One defends well and Dehner ends up having to push One into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
One moves into range and connects with a jab.
One scores with a jab to the jaw.
One works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
One waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dehner.
Martin Dehner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice shot lands for One.
Dehner is trying hard to land a takedown here. One sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dehner moves forwards but One connects with a nice, crisp jab.

One drops Dehner with a big left hand! Dehner is injured, injured bad! One jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
