Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Rodriguez (ranked 6567 p4p, 449 weight class) and Wladimir Klitschko (ranked 5074 p4p, 399 weight class). Rodriguez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, BREAK THE WALL DOWN!!!. Wladimir Klitschko looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaime Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wladimir Klitschko!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez closes the distance and clinches.

Rodriguez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Rodriguez drops back looking for a leg! Klitschko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Klitschko manages to kick Rodriguez off! Rodriguez jumps back into Klitschko's guard.

Klitschko pulls Rodriguez in close to his closed guard and prevents Rodriguez from doing any damage or advancing position.
Let's hope that Klitschko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rodriguez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Klitschko keeps working.

Klitschko felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rodriguez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Rodriguez swings around for an armbar but Klitschko sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rodriguez's guard.

Klitschko is posturing up here but Rodriguez has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Klitschko tries to roll out but it's too tight and Klitschko has to tap! Slick submission there by Rodriguez!
