The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Widowmaker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Teras as he avoids it easily.

Teras scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Teras tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Teras has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Teras swings around for an armbar but Widowmaker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Teras's guard.
Widowmaker passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Teras is looking to reverse the position.
Teras is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Widowmaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Teras, who protects the arm well.
Teras sneaks back into half guard.

Teras tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Widowmaker has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Widowmaker scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Teras?
The referee warns Teras that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Widowmaker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Teras has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Teras is trying desperately to improve position.
Teras tries to improve his position but instead Widowmaker has taken his back!

Widowmaker lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Teras hold on?!
You can see the frustration on Teras's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Teras defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Widowmaker's arms.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Teras tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
