Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukus Haas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nando G (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haas comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool's Bodies. Lukus Haas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nando G's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lukus Haas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nando G!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? G is fending him off so far but Haas persists. Nope, G circles away and we're back to standing.
Haas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around G's waist but G gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haas off to one side.
Haas shoots in looking for a takedown. G tries to sprawl out of it but Haas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. G manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukus Haas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Haas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Haas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around G's waist but G gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haas off to one side.
Haas closes the distance and clinches up with G, looking for a takedown. Haas pushes G against the cage but G circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
G shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. G showed some decent athleticism there.
Haas is breathing heavily.
G stands up out of the half guard.
G throws a sloppy head kick and Haas moves out of range easily.
G shoots in and bounces Haas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
G must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
G cracks Haas with a solid left hand.
G advances to half guard.
G is trying to control. Haas wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Haas tries to roll over but G keeps him under control.
G lands strikes from half guard.
G working the head and body with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
G seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
G is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Haas is just riding it out for now. G eventually gives up the hold.
G decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Haas misses with a takedown attempt
and G counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
G trying to control the action but Haas is working from the bottom.
G has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Haas darts in trying to clinch
and G holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Haas tries to score a body lock takedown but G shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
G pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and G counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by G.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
G prevents a takedown attempt there.
Haas can't get the takedown.
G lands a damaging elbow.
G pulls guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now G is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haas looking for a sweep. Not yet Haas, not yet.
Haas has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. G doesn't defend quickly enough and Haas has managed to lock this one up! Can G escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Haas on a fantastic submission victory.
