Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felton Glass (ranked 4801 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shlomo Shekelberg (ranked 4778 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felton Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shlomo Shekelberg! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shekelberg throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Glass decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shekelberg's guard. Glass postures up and lands a big shot to Shekelberg's brow. Glass stands up and waves to Shekelberg to follow him. Glass stuffs the takedown attempt from Shekelberg. Shekelberg gets slowly back to his feet. A little feinted left hand from Glass on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Glass wants to clinch. Glass swats away the attempt to clinch by Shekelberg. Glass is looking to counter the offense by Shekelberg and move into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shekelberg throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Shekelberg tries to clinch up but Glass circles away and keeps his distance. Nice sprawl there from Glass as Shekelberg shoots in. This has been an exciting period of action! Glass fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Shekelberg does no damage. Glass checks a leg kick. A low kick from Shekelberg misses and Glass counters with a shoot takedown. Shekelberg fights it but they end up in guard. Glass landing with the ground and pound. Shekelberg wants to stand but Glass is controlling the position. Glass stands and steps away. Shekelberg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Shekelberg shoots in but Glass avoids the takedown attempt easily. Felton Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shlomo Shekelberg. No luck with that takedown attempt from Shekelberg. Shekelberg looks winded! Shekelberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Glass tries to sprawl out of it but Shekelberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glass takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Glass avoids the body shot from Shekelberg.
Glass moves into the clinch. Glass stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Glass tries to bum rush Shekelberg with a series of wild strikes but Shekelberg uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Glass throws a head kick but Shekelberg moves out of range.
Shekelberg rushes Glass and presses him up against the cage. Glass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shekelberg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Glass has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shekelberg wants to break the clinch but can't.

Shekelberg with a lazy takedown attempt and Glass counters with a single leg into guard. Shekelberg didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glass stands and steps away. Shekelberg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Glass tries to clinch up but Shekelberg circles away and keeps his distance. Glass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Glass throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shekelberg was covering up waiting for the punch and Glass finishes the takedown easily into guard. Glass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shekelberg is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Glass dives into side control.
Glass decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glass tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shekelberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. A combination from Glass does no damage. Shekelberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Glass. Shekelberg looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Shekelberg fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Glass closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shekelberg's guard. Shekelberg is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Glass decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Shekelberg, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felton Glass dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Glass. Shekelberg looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Shekelberg fails with an attempt to clinch.

Glass is looking to counter the offense by Shekelberg and move into the clinch. Shekelberg throws a series of punches but Glass moves out of range. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass prevents Shekelberg from getting back to his feet. Shekelberg is breathing heavily. Glass is in close to Shekelberg's body, working some short punches and elbows. Glass in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Glass loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Glass is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shekelberg can do to turn this around? Glass drops back looking for a leg! Shekelberg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shekelberg manages to kick Glass off! Glass jumps back into Shekelberg's guard. Glass throws a big elbow that misses. Shekelberg has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Glass off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Horrible takedown attempt by Shekelberg or perhaps it was just good defense by Glass, which made it look bad. Glass closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Glass lands in his opponent's guard. Shekelberg has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Glass off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Glass throws a sloppy head kick and Shekelberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A shot to the liver by Shekelberg. Beautiful body shot. Glass circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Glass. No joy for Shekelberg on that attempt. A jab from Shekelberg does it's job there. The fight stays on the outside here - Glass looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shekelberg is looking for the big counter here. Glass is looking to clinch but Shekelberg is avoiding it.

Glass swats away the attempt to clinch by Shekelberg. Glass seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Glass fails in his attempt to clinch. Shekelberg tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Glass manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Glass fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shekelberg. Glass misses with a double jab
enabling Shekelberg to counter with a crisp jab. Shekelberg moves into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Glass's face as he tries to break the clinch. Shekelberg has had enough of the clinch but Glass keeps him there for the moment. Shekelberg tries for a takedown. No joy.
Felton Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shlomo Shekelberg.

Glass gets tackled into the cage by Shekelberg. Shekelberg maintains the clinch. Glass manages to break the clinch.
Shekelberg bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Glass's head. Shekelberg tries to clinch but Glass moves out of range. It looked like Glass wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jab, jab by Shekelberg - just one landing.
Glass is rocked! Glass gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Shekelberg points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Glass wakes up just in time to hear Shekelberg thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shlomo Shekelberg!
