Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lin Shui (ranked 16745 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Morrison (ranked 1962 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison has chosen Diary of a Madman as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 5 losses; Lin Shui! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 11 losses; David Morrison!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Morrison drives through with a takedown into guard.

Morrison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shui is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morrison pulls his head out easily.

Shui has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morrison is working away from the top position though.
Morrison uses his free foot to push down on Shui's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shui.

Shui is in all sorts of trouble here.
Shui bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Shui avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Morrison manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shui manages to get himself to full guard.

Morrison sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shui's guard.
Shui is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Morrison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shui defends it well.

Morrison controlling well, preventing Shui from escaping the position.

Morrison has hold of Shui's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shui manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Morrison prevents Shui from getting the reversal.

Shui is controlling an arm, preventing Morrison from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Morrison is working for a guillotine from mount but Shui frees his head quite easily.
