PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin McLauhglin (ranked 2747 p4p, 278 weight class) and Richard Silva (ranked 2515 p4p, 263 weight class). McLauhglin comes to the ring accompanied by What the hell are you waiting for. Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Architects-Doomsday. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McLauhglin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

McLauhglin has hold of Silva's hands but Silva slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McLauhglin's waist but McLauhglin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

McLauhglin is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A relieved looking Richard Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
