The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boitsov lands a really nice looking cross but Tindal seems unphased.
Boitsov digs a good body shot into Tindal's ribs.
Boitsov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tindal is trying to defend but Boitsov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Boitsov passes to side control.
Tindal is trying to escape the position but Boitsov is controlling the position.
Tindal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Boitsov asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tindal has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Boitsov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tindal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tindal is trying to buck Boitsov off.
Boitsov cracks Tindal with a big elbow.
It looks like Mark Tindal has been cut.
Tindal takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Boitsov is looking to take a break and control but Tindal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boitsov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Mark Tindal's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Tindal's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Dmitry Boitsov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
