And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georgiev misses with a hook
and Nesset counters with a three punch combo that has Georgiev backing up. Georgiev nods at Nesset to acknowledge the strikes.
Nesset keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Georgiev is defended easily by Nesset.
Nesset throws a right and a left that Georgiev avoids nicely.
Nesset swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Georgiev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nesset throws a lazy right hand but Georgiev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nesset will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Georgiev clobbers Nesset with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nesset lands with an uppercut that bounces Georgiev off the cage and back into range.

Nesset throws a looping overhand right but Georgiev ducks down to avoid it.
Georgiev attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Nesset looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Some bone on bone action there as Nesset checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Georgiev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nesset tries to avoid it but Georgiev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nesset to the ground. Nesset escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Georgiev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nesset doesn't seem phased though.

It looked like Nesset was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Georgiev.
Georgiev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nesset was well out of range. Poor timing from Georgiev.
Nesset seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nesset throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Georgiev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nesset drops his hands momentarily and Georgiev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nesset. Georgiev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nesset takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Georgiev moves away from the strike by Nesset.

and Nesset counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Georgiev might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Nesset has got the better of the exchanges.
