The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris circles away from the clinch attempt.
Leahy sets himself, and Harris steps forward looking for the clinch! Leahy avoids it this time.
Harris closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leahy did well to prevent Harris getting side control.
Leahy keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leahy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Harris pulls his head out easily.
Leahy is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Leahy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Harris is trying to work for a kimura but Leahy is defending well.

Leahy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Harris trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Leahy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Harris throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Leahy's body to avoid the submission. Leahy has instead reached around Harris's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Leahy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
