Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lawrence (ranked 978 p4p, 140 weight class) and Tatu Kurri (ranked 1003 p4p, 144 weight class). Lawrence kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sweep the Leg. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence throws a poor cross that misses
and Kurri counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kurri is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lawrence sees it coming and defends easily.
Kurri lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kurri is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kurri is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Lawrence in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Kurri takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kurri lands a big elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kurri is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lawrence is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lawrence flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kurri anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lawrence and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kurri slips an arm under Lawrence chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kurri has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kurri is squeezing on Lawrence like an anaconda would it's prey. Lawrence fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tatu Kurri!
A very excited looking Tatu Kurri made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
The defeated Johnny Lawrence had this to say: 'Hey Johnny! You're a cream puff!'.
