Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hendrik Vermeulen (ranked 1362 p4p, 186 weight class) and Jakub Chlapik (ranked 672 p4p, 92 weight class). Chlapik has chosen PIPES AND PINTS / Criticized as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hendrik Vermeulen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vermeulen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chlapik - the referee stops the clock and Vermeulen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chlapik. Vermeulen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Vermeulen might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
