Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Slayer (ranked 2444 p4p, 285 weight class) and Samuel Turbitt (ranked 1545 p4p, 197 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Turbitt's choice of entrance music: Tell Me Ma. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Slayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Turbitt! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slayer clobbers Turbitt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Slayer misses with a right hand and Turbitt counters with a good low kick that Slayer was not able to check. Some wild striking there from Turbitt.
Turbitt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Slayer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Some bone on bone action there as Slayer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Slayer scores with a nice head shot. Slayer cracks Turbitt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Slayer staying out of range there. Slayer ducks under a wild hook from Turbitt. Turbitt throws a body shot but no joy. Slayer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Slayer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turbitt lands with a hook. Slayer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turbitt blocks a jab. Turbitt unleashes a big counter combination but Slayer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Turbitt's coach down at Lads Lash Banter Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turbitt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Turbitt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Slayer misses with a shot to the body and Turbitt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Turbitt pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Slayer back to the cage. Turbitt follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer moves in looking to clinch but Turbitt pushes him off. An inside leg kick from Turbitt misses. Slayer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Slayer looks to throw the jab but Turbitt is out of range. Slayer throws a body shot but no joy. Slayer throws a poor cross that misses
and Turbitt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Slayer thinking. Turbitt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Slayer lands a lovely overhand right. Slayer misses with a straight left. Slayer backing away here, and Turbitt unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Slayer misses with a hook. Slayer misses with a straight left. Slayer throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Turbitt to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slayer misses with a double jab
and Turbitt counters with a nice leg kick. Slayer misses the jab. Turbitt scores with a head kick. Slayer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Turbitt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Turbitt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slayer was well out of range. Poor timing from Turbitt. Turbitt throws a sloppy head kick and Slayer moves out of range easily. Turbitt with a body punch. A glancing blow. Turbitt changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Slayer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Turbitt scores with a jab to the jaw. Slayer lands a glancing blow to the side of Turbitt's head. Turbitt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Slayer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Turbitt on his heels. He'll look to pass Turbitt's guard now, I'm sure. Slayer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Turbitt is keeping the position for now.
Slayer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Turbitt looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Turbitt looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Turbitt!
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turbitt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer tries to bench press Turbitt off him but Turbitt keeps the position. Slayer taking a bit of punishment here - Turbitt scoring with strikes. Slayer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Turbitt is trying to get an arm triangle but Slayer is defending well. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Slayer is looking for a sweep.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Turbitt happy to just control the position for now. Slayer is trying to improve his position. Slayer is working hard here to advance position. Slayer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Slayer taking some punishment here, with Turbitt in his half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Turbitt is working for a submission of some sort.
Slayer has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Turbitt. Oh but Slayer has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Turbitt goes limp - he's gone! Slayer jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
