Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoshida Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Dragon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yoshida Gomi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshida Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Dragon!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi shoots in and drives through. Dragon sprawls well.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Gomi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dragon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gomi can pounce on him.

Dragon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dragon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gomi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dragon has him pressed against the cage.
Gomi avoiding damage.
Gomi jumps guard but Dragon stands there with Gomi around his waist. Gomi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gomi tries to score a body lock takedown but Dragon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Gomi has had enough of the clinch but Dragon keeps him there for the moment.
Gomi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dragon walks away with a smile on his face. Gomi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gomi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dragon throws a series of punches but Gomi avoids them all with ease.

Dragon throws a right hand that Gomi ducks under and follows up with a left that Gomi also avoids with ease.

Gomi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dragon throws a looping overhand right but Gomi ducks down to avoid it.

Gomi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yoshida Gomi will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Dragon tries to sprawl out of it but Gomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dragon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
