Savage comes to the cage accompanied by Vote With a Bullet by Corrosion of Conformity. Billy Brighton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Brighton gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Brighton tries to stall but Savage uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Savage creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brighton's defenses.
Brighton is looking to break free of the clinch but Savage has double underhooks.

Brighton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Savage gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Savage can't find room to land a body shot as Brighton controls the action.

so Brighton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brighton connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Savage to escape the position.
Savage wants to control his opponent's hands but Brighton gets his hands free.
Brighton is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Savage has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Brighton is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Savage has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Savage!

Brighton seems a little lost for a moment, as Savage dominates the positioning.

Savage's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brighton is holding on here and Savage must be using up a lot of energy. Brighton has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Savage gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
