Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Nurmy!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Navajo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nurmy somewhat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Navajo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nurmy's half guard.
Nurmy pushes Navajo off looking to stand but Navajo dives back in and keeps control.

Navajo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Navajo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nurmy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Navajo connects with a nice short shot to Nurmy's temple.

Navajo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Navajo lands a big elbow - Nurmy is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Navajo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Navajo!
Chief Navajo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Big Chief Nutrition & Laundry Services (80%) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
