Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Steve Jr (ranked 794 p4p, 82 weight class) and Morris Day (ranked 1373 p4p, 141 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Steve Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morris Day! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day tries to move into range but Steve Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Steve Jr dips to his left and cracks Day with an uppercut! Day on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Day is rocked! Day is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Steve Jr's half guard. Day lands with a punch from half guard. Steve Jr taking some punishment here, with Day in his half guard. Day lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Day thows a huge punch but Steve Jr dodges it nicely.
Steve Jr actively working from the bottom here. Day winds up and cracks Steve Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Steve Jr's coaches at Navy Street MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Day is nestled in close to Steve Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! That's one minute gone in the round. Steve Jr taking some punishment here, with Day in his half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Day lands a nice short elbow. Steve Jr is trying to stand back up but Day is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steve Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Day prevents Steve Jr from standing back up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Day drops an elbow to the side of Steve Jr's head. Day looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Steve Jr has hold of Day's hands but Day slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve Jr gets back to full guard.

Steve Jr is rocked! Day lands a couple of decent looking shots. Oh Steve Jr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Day gets to his feet and stands over Steve Jr, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Steve Jr felt that one! Day unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Steve Jr from any more punishment!
