The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernieson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ernieson blocks a head kick by Ferraro.
Ernieson throws a lazy head kick
and Ferraro counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ernieson is trying to keep Ferraro in close.

Ferraro wants to pass the guard but Ernieson is keeping the position.
Ernieson kicks Ferraro off and gets to his feet.

Ernieson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Ernieson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ferraro has him pressed against the cage.
Ernieson stalls.
Ernieson is trying to break the clinch but Ferraro has him pressed against the cage.
Ernieson gets underhooks to prevent Ferraro's takedown attempt.
Ferraro breaks the clinch.
Ernieson scores with a kick to the midsection.

Ernieson throws a head kick that half lands.
Ernieson lands a body shot.
Ferraro is breathing heavily.
Ferraro blocks a head kick by Ernieson.
Ernieson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ernieson misses with a wild combination.
Ernieson pushes Ferraro away with a front kick.
Nice straight punches there by Ernieson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ernieson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferraro tries to clinch up but Ernieson circles away and keeps his distance.

Ernieson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ferraro shoots in but no luck this time.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ernieson.
Ferraro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ernieson connects with a high kick.
It looks like Colin Ferraro has been cut.
Ernieson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ernieson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferraro circles away quickly and effectively.

Ferraro slips a jab and a cross from Ernieson.
Ernieson sizes up Ferraro with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ernieson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ferraro is rocked!
Ernieson stuns Ferraro with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ernieson lands with a nice combination. Ferraro backs away looking to recover.
Oh Ferraro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferraro drops his hands momentarily and Ernieson needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ferraro just on the top of the head. Ferraro drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ferraro - he's done!
