0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oleg Vinysha! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vinysha closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vinysha lands in his opponent's guard. Vinysha missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vinysha throwing strikes from guard but Walsh blocks nicely. Walsh is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Vinysha dives into side control.
Vinysha is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Walsh has escaped the position, nice work there. Vinysha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Walsh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vinysha works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Walsh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Walsh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vinysha keeps working. Walsh throws a strike but Vinysha avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Walsh with a flurry of punches that miss. Walsh is working Vinysha over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Walsh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Walsh scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Walsh trying to control but Vinysha is working from the bottom. Walsh wanted to stand there but Vinysha had control of the position.

Vinysha with a flurry of punches that miss. Vinysha keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Walsh's head. Vinysha working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
