Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elroy Barry (ranked 23471 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Ng (ranked 4582 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis Ng has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elroy Barry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Ng! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ng clinches up with Barry and pushes him back against the cage. Barry is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ng to keep the fight standing. Ng taking a breather. Ng misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Barry.
Barry wants a takedown but no success here.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ng. Ng's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ng takes the fight into the clinch. Ng is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elroy Barry. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry is looking to control Ng's arms but Ng gets an underhook and turns him. Now Barry has his back to the cage. Ng misses with a punch to the body.
Ng tries a knee to the head but Barry blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Ng.
Ng has had enough of the clinch but Barry keeps him there for the moment. A nice right hand lands inside from Ng. Ng lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barry backwards. Ng wants the takedown. Barry is fighting it off but Ng persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barry's guard against the cage. Barry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Barry utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ng showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ng gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ng shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ng was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barry defending against the ground and pound. Ng is staying tight to Barry's torso, preventing him from escaping. Ng wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barry keeps working. Ng decides to stand back up. Ng takes the fight into the clinch. Ng is defending well against a takedown attempt. Barry prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ng lands a body punch. Barry letting Ng take a breather here. Ng is working for takedown but Barry is calmly controlling the position for now. Barry being controlled against the cage. Ng turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Ng working the ground and pound. Barry defending against the ground and pound. Ng decides to stand back up. Ng steps back and let's Barry get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry blocks the body kick.
Ng moves into the clinch. Ng unloads a knee to the mid-section. Barry is trying to pull guard but Ng turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Barry jumps guard but Ng stands there with Barry around his waist. Barry gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ng gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Barry regains guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barry pulls Ng in close to prevent any damage. Ng wants to stand but Barry has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Ng dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Barry staying out of range there. Ng rushes Barry and presses him up against the cage. Barry fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ng decides to pull guard. Ng pulls Barry in close to his closed guard and prevents Barry from doing any damage or advancing position. Ng wants to improve his position but instead Barry has moved into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ng misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Travis Ng has got the better of the ground game so far. Ng is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ng makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ng. Ng is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barry is aware though and is defending well. Ng trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ng looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barry is one step ahead there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ng can do anything to dispel that myth. Barry has gone for a leg lock! Ng slips out almost immediately though and dives into Barry's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ng decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barry, up you get! Ng instigates a clinch. Ng gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Barry regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ng postures up in Barry's guard and throws a big left but Barry blocks it. Ng gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ng closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ng lands in his opponent's guard. Ng is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ng is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ng with a flurry of punches that miss. Barry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ng with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ng has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ng trying to control the position from guard on top but Barry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barry looking to control.
Barry looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ng is one step ahead there. Ng stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Barry working for submissions but it's allowed Ng to get to half guard.
Ng stands up and beckons Barry to join him on the feet. Barry has managed to clinch.
Travis Ng seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Ng pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ng gets a takedown into half guard. Barry manages to escape and get back to his feet! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Ng showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ng closes the distance and pushes Barry back into the cage. Ng is struggling to control the position. Ng's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ng receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Ng drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Barry throws a big elbow that misses. Ng is trying to keep Barry in close.
Ng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ng is looking to stand up but Barry isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Barry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ng manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barry has Ng in his guard.
Barry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ng defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ng throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barry works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Barry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ng, pushing him back against the cage. Ng comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Elroy Barry has been cut. Ng breaks from the clinch.
Ng drops Barry with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Barry looks back up at him and smiles so Ng waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Barry is rocked! Ng gets a big slam - oh, Barry is out! Barry is out! That's a nasty KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Travis Ng!
