Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Angel Escobar (ranked 3205 p4p, 270 weight class) and Greg Marshall (ranked 3254 p4p, 273 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Angel Escobar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greg Marshall! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Escobar looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Escobar actively working from the bottom here. Marshall seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Escobar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marshall pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marshall working the head and body with strikes. Escobar looks like he's trying to stand up.
Escobar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Escobar. Marshall wants to stand but Escobar is controlling his posture from full guard. Escobar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marshall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Escobar is tightening it up a little... Marshall has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Marshall reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Marshall taps out! Nice BJJ there by Escobar!
