Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Sanches!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hamilton Scrapple!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanches is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scrapple sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Scrapple's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Sanches is trying to force a seperation but Scrapple has the dominant position.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sanches tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Scrapple defends well and Sanches ends up having to push Scrapple into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Scrapple ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanches moves away.

enabling Sanches to counter with a crisp jab.
Scrapple takes a swing at Sanches's ribcage but misses.
Sanches is looking to slow Scrapple down with leg kicks.
Sanches bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Sanches connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Scrapple swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Scrapple gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Scrapple stalls.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Scrapple misses with an uppercut. Sanches saw that one coming.
Sanches drops down looking for a counter takedown but Scrapple sprawls and moves away.
Sanches really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Scrapple decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sanches's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Scrapple counters by moving into the clinch.

Scrapple throws a punch but it's blocked by Sanches.

Scrapple keeps control of Sanches as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Scrapple swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sanches's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Andy Sanches is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sanches steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Scrapple.

Scrapple moves into range and clinches up with Sanches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Scrapple misses with the head strike.
Sanches blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sanches changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Scrapple fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sanches throws a right and a left that both miss.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sanches shoots in and drives through. Scrapple sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hamilton Scrapple showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Scrapple scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sanches.
Sanches tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Scrapple throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sanches fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanches ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sanches avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Scrapple manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sanches on his heels. He'll look to pass Sanches's guard now, I'm sure.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hamilton Scrapple comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Scrapple has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
