Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Boom (ranked 3611 p4p, 369 weight class) and Eddy Gordo (ranked 3884 p4p, 389 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johny Boom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddy Gordo! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gordo has managed to clinch.
Gordo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Gordo gets a trip takedown into half guard. Boom tries to roll over but Gordo keeps him under control. Gordo moves into full mount! Boom won't be happy about that! Gordo punishing his opponent with strikes. Gordo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Gordo working Boom over with strikes here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boom taking shots to the head. Gordo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Gordo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom is looking to get to half guard. Gordo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gordo scoring with strikes but Boom is staying in there. Gordo controlling the pace for now. Boom is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Boom wants to hold on but Gordo pushes him away. Boom sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gordo connects with a nice short shot to Boom's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordo stalling. Nice strikes from Gordo there. Gordo wants to free his trapped foot but Boom is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gordo slips a nice elbow through Boom's hands, connecting with Boom's forehead. Boom is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gordo scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddy Gordo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Boom ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Gordo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gordo gets a clinch. Gordo has hold of one of Boom's legs. Boom is fighting the takedown attempt but Gordo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Boom throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gordo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gordo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gordo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boom is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gordo distracts Boom with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom wants to get back to his feet but Gordo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Eddy Gordo has got the better of the ground game so far. Gordo controls from within his opponent's guard. Gordo won't allow Boom to get back to his feet. Gordo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boom is keeping the position for now. Boom is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gordo is pushing down on Boom's leg trying to pass to half guard. Boom is fighting to maintain full guard but Gordo has managed to sneak the leg through. Gordo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gordo prevents Boom from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordo trying to pass the guard but Boom defending well. Boom trying to control but Gordo postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gordo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boom is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boom actively working from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gordo is pressing down on Boom's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boom is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddy Gordo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Boom tries to sprawl but Gordo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gordo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gordo content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gordo decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom fails in his attempt to clinch. Boom sets himself, and Gordo steps forward looking for the clinch! Boom avoids it this time. Boom tries to clinch but Gordo moves out of range. Boom doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gordo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Boom lands a body shot.
Boom instigates a clinch. Gordo blocks a body shot from Boom. Gordo crunches a lovely knee into Boom's ribcage. Gordo successfully pulls guard.
Gordo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gordo pulls Boom in to control the position. Gordo keeping moving, preventing Boom from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom with a flurry of punches that miss. Boom drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boom jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gordo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gordo controlling Boom's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boom wants to control from the top but Gordo keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddy Gordo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Gordo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Eddy Gordo! After the fight, Eddy Gordo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
