Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 3268 p4p, 378 weight class) and Jolly Rodger (ranked 4191 p4p, 450 weight class). Rodger has chosen Reach for the stars by s club 7 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jolly Rodger! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodger slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tyson has closed the distance and engaged Rodger in a clinch.
Rodger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tyson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rodger blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rodger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rodger. Tyson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tyson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tyson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rodger scores with a hook to the body. Tyson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rodger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rodger with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rodger, as that shot connected.
Tyson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rodger goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rodger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rodger lands with an uppercut that bounces Tyson off the cage and back into range. Tyson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tyson throws a big counter combination but Rodger scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tyson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tyson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tyson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Rodger manages to circle out of the way. Tyson misses with a wild body shot. Rodger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tyson on the side of the head. Tyson misses with a looping left. Rodger throws a right and a left that Tyson avoids nicely. Tyson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rodger. Rodger throws a lazy right hand but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jolly Rodger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tyson blocks a jab. It looked like Tyson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Tyson staying out of range there. Rodger lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tyson at a distance.
Tyson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rodger throws a jab when Tyson was well out of range. Tyson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rodger sprawls and moves away. Tyson throws a body kick that misses. Rodger throws out a counter right but Tyson avoids it with no problem. The fighters circling - Rodger throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tyson wants to clinch up but Rodger keeps it at a distance. Tyson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tyson tries to clinch but Rodger is having none of it. Tyson ducks under a wild hook from Rodger. Rodger fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tyson on the side of the head. Rodger scores with a jab. Rodger dips to his left and cracks Tyson with an uppercut! Rodger with a hook. Rodger catches Tyson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tyson tries to clinch up but Rodger circles away and keeps his distance. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.

Rodger dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rodger throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Tyson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tyson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rodger scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tyson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tyson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rodger swings for the body but Tyson moves out of range.

It looks like Jolly Rodger has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rodger throws a combination. Tyson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tyson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rodger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyson scrambles back to his feet. Tyson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rodger lands with a hook. Tyson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rodger has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rodger circles away from the clinch attempt.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rodger's guard. Tyson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tyson won't allow Rodger to get back to his feet. Jolly Rodger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jolly Rodger's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Tyson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rodger swivels and escapes. Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Donk. Rodger catches Tyson right on the button with a cross. Tyson fails in his attempt to clinch. Tyson moves in looking to clinch but Rodger pushes him off. Rodger keeps the fight on the outside. Tyson is looking to clinch. Tyson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rodger connects with a nice looking jab.
Tyson walks into a left hand. Rodger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Tyson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rodger defends well and Tyson ends up having to push Rodger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the liver by Rodger. Beautiful body shot. Rodger scores with a nice strike. Tyson goes for a double leg but Rodger avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rodger continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Tyson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rodger lands with a shot to the body.
