Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henning Martinussen (ranked 4127 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miliki Monotowa (ranked 4827 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monotowa instigates a clinch.
Monotowa jumps into guard, dragging Martinussen to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Martinussen wants to control from the top but Monotowa keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Monotowa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Monotowa working for a triangle but Martinussen defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martinussen trying to control but Monotowa is working from the bottom.
Martinussen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Monotowa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Martinussen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Monotowa pulls down on the head and he's put Martinussen to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Miliki Monotowa!
An out of breath Miliki Monotowa thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
