Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peccne Tag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evgeni Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tag steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kozlov.
Peccne Tag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kozlov lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Peccne Tag has been cut.
Kozlov defending well as Tag loads up on a big left hand.
A little jabbing left from Kozlov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kozlov lands a right hook to the body.
Tag stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kozlov tries to move into range but Tag moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Kozlov misses the target.
Kozlov scores with a nice right hand.
Kozlov throws a looping overhand right but Tag ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Kozlov misses the target.
Tag takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lazy left from Tag finds it's target.
Kozlov throws an overhand right that lands on Tag's shoulder, as Tag tries to avoid the shot.
Tag pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tag getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Tag moves out of range of the strikes.
Tag throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kozlov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tag lands a slapping body shot.
Kozlov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tag is rocked!
Kozlov avoids the body shot from Tag.
A little jabbing left from Kozlov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Oh Tag is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tag gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kozlov gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tag is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evgeni Kozlov!
