Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between First Last (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). First Last could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jan Kowalski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, First Last! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jan Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Last fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kowalski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Last throws a nice outside leg kick. Last shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kowalski but Kowalski pushes him off and we're back to square one. Last shoots in looking for a takedown. Kowalski tries to sprawl out of it but Last keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kowalski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for First Last. That's going to take a lot out of him. Last tries to clinch up. Last shoots in and drives through. Kowalski sprawls well. Kowalski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kowalski postures up.
Kowalski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kowalski trying to control the position from guard on top but Last is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Last looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kowalski puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Last is trying to control but Kowalski passes into side control!
Last is trying to control Kowalski's posture but Kowalski avoids it. Last is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kowalski off and has taken his back! Kowalski trying to control the position but Last manages to sink in the hooks. Last missing with strikes from the back. Last tries to keep control of the position but Kowalski is staying busy. Last is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kowalski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Last has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kowalski's body.
Last will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kowalski tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Kowalski really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Last trying to control but Kowalski is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Last looking to ground and pound but Kowalski is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kowalski avoids a series of strikes thrown by Last.
Last trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kowalski keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Last looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kowalski is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Last can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kowalski is looking to escape. Kowalski tries to hold on but Last postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kowalski is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kowalski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jan Kowalski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kowalski moves into range and clinches up with Last. Last manages to break the clinch.
Last tries for a takedown but Kowalski circles away easily and Kowalski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Last wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Last can't get the takedown.

Last with a lazy takedown attempt and Kowalski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for First Last. That's going to take a lot out of him. Last wants to control but Kowalski is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kowalski stands up and beckons Last to join him on the feet. Last gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kowalski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Last's guard now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kowalski won't allow Last to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Last looking for a guillotine here but Kowalski defends easily.

Kowalski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kowalski wants to pass the guard but Last is keeping the position. Last wants to get back to his feet but Kowalski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kowalski pushes down on Last's leg and manages to get into half guard. Last tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kowalski has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Last that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kowalski wants to control the pace but Last is squirming around nicely. Kowalski manages to capitalize on a mistake by Last to take his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Last's corner are yelling at him, telling him to just focus on controlling Kowalski's hands. Last tries to break free.
Last looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Last is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jan Kowalski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Kowalski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Last tries to roll over but Kowalski keeps him under control. Kowalski looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kowalski not landing any meaningful shots this time. Last tries to get to full guard but Kowalski has control of the leg. Last is working hard here to advance position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kowalski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Last does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Last pushes Kowalski off looking to stand but Kowalski dives back in and keeps control.
Last makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Last. Kowalski scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Last darts in and clinches Kowalski up against the cage. Kowalski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kowalski looks for the body kick but Last saw that one coming. Last clinches up against the cage. Kowalski has clasped his hands together around Last's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Kowalski scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Last is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kowalski asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kowalski working away. Kowalski scoring with punches and elbows. Kowalski has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Last shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Kowalski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kowalski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Last is working an open guard so Kowalski takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Last misses with a takedown and Kowalski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Last's guard now. Kowalski passes Last's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Kowalski seems content to control. Kowalski is trying to control. Last wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kowalski lands a nice short elbow. Kowalski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Last with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Last is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kowalski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kowalski's back! Last knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kowalski on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Last is controlling the position but Kowalski somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Last is thwarting Kowalski's attempts to control the position. First Last has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jan Kowalski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Last is looking for a kimura here.
And that's the end of the fight! Jan Kowalski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kowalski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
