Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Salvatore (ranked 1089 p4p, 143 weight class) and DooHo Choi (ranked 3703 p4p, 382 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Salvatore might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Reich mir die Hand. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enzo Salvatore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, DooHo Choi! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choi works Salvatore's body with a nice hook. Salvatore with a lazy takedown attempt and Choi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. No luck for Salvatore with that takedown attempt. Salvatore gets the takedown into side control. Choi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Choi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Salvatore tries for a kimura but Choi is defending well. Choi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Salvatore tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Salvatore tries to advance to mount but can't. Salvatore looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Choi stops Salvatore from passing to mount. Choi pushes Salvatore away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Salvatore gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Salvatore wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Choi, who protects the arm well. Choi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Choi is not content to let Salvatore control the position. Salvatore feints and as Choi raises his hands in defense, Salvatore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Salvatore advances position into side control! Enzo Salvatore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Choi wants to get back to his feet. Salvatore is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Choi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Choi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Salvatore is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvatore working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. That's big trouble for Choi! Choi really wants to buck Salvatore off and get back to his feet. Salvatore is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Choi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Salvatore goes for an armbar but Choi turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Choi. Salvatore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Choi wants to stand but Salvatore has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Salvatore wants to sweep here but Choi controlling him for the moment. Choi wants to stand but Salvatore is controlling his posture from full guard. Choi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Salvatore is on top in guard.

Enzo Salvatore dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Salvatore shoots in and drives through. Choi sprawls well. Salvatore closes the distance and clinches up with Choi, looking for a takedown. Salvatore pushes Choi against the ropes but Choi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Choi throws a shot from downtown. Salvatore moves away and avoids it. Salvatore feinted with a counter takedown. A combination from Choi does no damage. The crowd cheers as Choi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Salvatore doesn't seem phased though. Salvatore fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enzo Salvatore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Choi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Salvatore shoots for a double leg takedown but Choi sprawls well. He's pushed Salvatore's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A big right from Choi misses. Salvatore has his takedown stuffed and Choi counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choi sizes up Salvatore with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Choi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A head kick misses from Choi. Salvatore with a lazy takedown attempt and Choi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice straight punches there by Choi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Choi. Salvatore shoots for a takedown but Choi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvatore ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Enzo Salvatore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Salvatore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Choi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Salvatore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Choi wants to get back to his feet but Salvatore drags him back down. Choi bucks up and tries to throw Salvatore off but instead Salvatore has got his back! Salvatore working for a choke but Choi is defending well. Salvatore working for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Choi is trying to stand back up. Salvatore working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Choi is doing well to defend. Salvatore seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Choi is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Enzo Salvatore! Enzo Salvatore really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RESISTANCE logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
