Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Island King (ranked 5046 p4p, 493 weight class) and Gunner Larsson (ranked 2297 p4p, 287 weight class). Larsson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Machine Gun Kelly - Till I Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Island King has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Island King seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. King checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A bone on bone clash there as King blocks the leg kick.
King looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Larsson!
Larsson manages to get back to half guard.

King is just content to waste time from the top position. Larsson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Gunner Larsson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Larsson shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It looks like Island King has been cut.

I would just about give that final round to Gunner Larsson.

After the fight, Gunner Larsson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
