Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Khazoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khazoki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Want It All. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Khazoki.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Congo tries for a takedown but Khazoki circles away easily
and Khazoki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Congo's guard now.
Congo is pulling down on Khazoki's head. It's preventing any offense from Khazoki, at least for the moment.

Khazoki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Congo tries to control but Khazoki wriggling away.

Khazoki tries to hold on but Congo postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Congo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Congo misses with a kick to the body.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Congo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Khazoki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Khazoki is looking for a sweep.
Congo happy to just control the position for now.
Congo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jimmy Congo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Congo has closed the distance and engaged Khazoki in a clinch.
Congo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khazoki has him pressed against the cage.

and Khazoki counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Congo!

Congo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Jimmy Congo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Khazoki is looking to take a break and control but Congo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Congo gets full guard.
Congo controls Khazoki momentarily but Khazoki frees himself.
Congo has Khazoki pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Congo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Khazoki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Khazoki is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Congo pulls his head out easily.
Congo is taking a breather. Khazoki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Congo escapes and gets back to his feet.

Khazoki shoots in for a takedown but Congo shows good takedown defense.

Congo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Khazoki, pushing him back against the cage.
Congo misses with an elbow over the top.
Khazoki gets underhooks to prevent Congo's takedown attempt.
Congo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Khazoki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Congo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Alexi Khazoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Congo.
Congo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Congo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Khazoki has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Congo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
