Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otto Tallus (ranked 4353 p4p, 452 weight class) and Jeroen Franken (ranked 6222 p4p, 531 weight class). Tallus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Poison Girl. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Otto Tallus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeroen Franken!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tallus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Otto Tallus has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Franken.
Franken connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tallus momentarily.
We've been told by Tallus's head coaches at MMA Dojo (Top Gym in Tokyo*) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tallus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franken pinned against the cage. Franken gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Franken checks a leg kick.
Franken has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tallus is looking for a takedown.
Franken tries a body shot but Tallus blocks it.
Franken stops a takedown attempt from Tallus.

Tallus has Franken pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Franken manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Franken's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Franken lunges at Tallus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tallus's hand.
Tallus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franken pinned against the cage. Franken gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jeroen Franken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tallus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Franken's waist but Franken gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tallus off to one side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tallus shoots for a takedown but Franken saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franken uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tallus has time to react.
Tallus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Franken throws a hook but Tallus blocks it.
Franken wants to clinch.
Franken ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Franken gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tallus tries to score a body lock takedown but Franken shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Tallus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Franken is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Franken lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Franken lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Franken scores with a nice short uppercut.
Franken lands with a light punch inside.
Franken throws a punch but it's blocked by Tallus.
Franken makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The referee calls for Franken to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Franken tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tallus's elbow.
Franken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Franken scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheers as Franken lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tallus doesn't seem phased though.
Tallus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Franken but Franken pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Franken has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Tallus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Franken circles away.
Franken misses with a double jab.
Tallus shoots in and drives through. Franken sprawls well.
Franken lunges at Tallus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tallus's hand.
Tallus is rocked!
Franken misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Tallus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tallus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Franken throws out a counter right but Tallus avoids it with no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Franken clinches up with Tallus and pushes him back against the cage.
Tallus seems to have got his legs back now.

Tallus wants to take the fight to the mat but Franken manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Franken prevents a takedown attempt there.
Franken is leaning against Tallus and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Franken throws a big uppercut that drops Tallus! More strikes from Franken and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Tallus lies dazed against the cage as Franken celebrates with his cornermen!
