PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gracie (ranked 3742 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beytullah Olgertpeposhi (ranked 2467 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Olgertpeposhi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Olgertpeposhi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gracie yanks on the arm and Olgertpeposhi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gracie.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ricardo Gracie! A very excited looking Ricardo Gracie made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
