Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evgeni Kozlov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sir William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace lands the left hand.
It looks like Evgeni Kozlov has been cut. Kozlov connects with a looping right hand.
Kozlov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wallace circles away quickly and effectively. Evgeni Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kozlov.
Wallace is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Kozlov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wallace misses with a right hand and Kozlov counters with a straight right hand. Nice defenses there by Kozlov. Wallace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kozlov throws out the jab. Wallace is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Wallace throws an overhand right that lands on Kozlov's shoulder, as Kozlov tries to avoid the shot. Wallace moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wallace moves out of range as Kozlov strikes. Wallace is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozlov throws out a powerful jab. Kozlov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wallace counters with a nice uppercut. Kozlov thuds a left hand into Wallace's body. Kozlov throws the left hand but Wallace avoids the punch easily. Wallace is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Wallace on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Wallace is rocked! Wallace looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kozlov lands a right hand from hell, dropping Wallace. Kozlov pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evgeni Kozlov! Evgeni Kozlov is the new middleweight champion!
