Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshawn Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shaw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Moncey defends well and Shaw ends up having to push De Moncey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Shaw tries to get set, De Moncey tries to push him back and clinch up but Shaw manages to avoid the attempt.
Deshawn Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
De Moncey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bon Adrien De Moncey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deshawn Shaw.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De Moncey as he avoids it easily.

De Moncey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shaw knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

De Moncey is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Shaw frees his head nicely. Oh but De Moncey has switched to an armbar! Shaw is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
